About the Maker
A native Oregonian, Michelle grew up in Eugene and lived as a young adult in New York. Her adventures in hospitality lead to a life long appreciation of foods and wine from all over the world. Upon returning to Oregon, she fell in love with Oregon wine and outdoor activities.
Finding and sourcing gemstone and beads that are natural and unmanipulated stems from a celebration of the natural world. She is inspired by nature and it's elements daily.
"When I was little there was hillside creek I used to play at, we would hunt for arrowheads, quartz and petrified wood... When I was in the early stages of developing this brand, I laid my eyes on rutilated quartz pieces in the Bamboo Collection. I felt that same wonder from when I was young -that same invigorating sparkle as if I just pulled it from the fresh mountain springwater and wiped off the sediment. My hope is that this same authentic relaxation and appreciation of natural beauty resonates with people who wear these pieces."
Michelle currently resides in Oregon's Willamette Valley wine country with her partner and two daughters where they operate a winery. She enjoys spending time in her Pacific City studio where she maintains an organic English style garden and enjoys paddle boarding the Nestucca Bay.
